All the sets and scenery for opera and ballet at the Royal Opera House are created in the Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop. A team of 30 carpenters, metalworkers and artists make the sets and scenery for more ten new productions each year as well as refurbish sets from productions already in the repertory. Apprentices also work in the Workshop learning new skills alongside the talented staff as well as attending local colleges to gain their qualifications. More about the Workshop
